この秋、パートナーの四国八十八ケ所巡礼のガイド兼運転手として秋の四国路一周を走ってきた。
約20年前オートバイHONDA・MAGNA50による日本一周の途上、八十八ケ所巡礼路をたどった日々を懐かしんだ。
一週間の予定で、前年に引き続き11番藤井寺を出発して、59番国分寺で終えた。
私自身の四国八十八ケ所巡礼の姿は、後日報告することにして、今回は海に囲まれた四国路、紅葉に輝く四国路を走りながら、お城や岬、迎えてくれたお寺の階段やお地蔵さんとのコミュニケーションを、写真を通してお届け出来ればと思う。
第一回目は、四国路海浜の風景と紅葉便りをお届けしたい。

This fall, I have enjoyed going around Shikoku Road in the fall as a guide and driver for the pilgrimage to 88 places in Shikoku, my partner who started with her retirement.
About 20 years ago, I missed the days when I followed the 88 pilgrimage routes on the way around Japan with the motorcycle HONDA MAGNA50.
With a one-week schedule, we left No. 11 Fujiidera-Temple as in the previous year and finished at No. 59 Kokubunji-Temple.
I will report on my own Shikoku 88 Pilgrimage at a later date, but this time I will take a look at Shikoku Road, which shines in autumn colors. While running, I would like to deliver a conversation with the castle, the cape, the stairs of the temple that welcomed me, and Jizo through photos.
For the first time, I would like to deliver the scenery of Shikokuji beach and the news of autumn leaves.

■四国という形
The shape of Shikoku
前年に続いて、明石海峡大橋を渡り、淡路島を縦断、鳴門大橋から四国の地・鳴門市に入った。
鳴門から前年終えた＜第１６番 観音寺＞に続く第17番 井戸寺＞に向かう。
四国という形は、変形した四角形に似ており、この旅も鳴門・室戸岬・足摺岬・佐多岬・今治と車を走らせ、巡礼者であるパートナーを巡礼寺に送り届けるとともに、私自身は四国の秋に身を沈めた。
四国の玄関口である鳴門公園をスタート地点とし、四国路一周の旅のゴールとした。
Continuing from the previous year, I crossed the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, crossed Awaji Island, and entered Naruto City, the land of Shikoku, from Naruto Bridge.
From Naruto, head to the 17th Ido-Temple, which follows the 16th Kannonji-Temple, which was completed the previous year.
The shape of Shikoku resembles a deformed square, and this trip also drives Naruto, Cape Muroto, Cape Ashizuri, Cape Sata, and Imabari, sending the pilgrim's partner to the pilgrimage route, and I myself enjoy the autumn of Shikoku.
This time, we Started from Naruto Park, the gateway to Shikoku, the goal of the trip around Shikoku Road was set.

＜四万十川＞
四万十川は、カヌーで下った懐かしさと、命を危険にさらした思い出の川である。
たしか、県道19号線に沿って流れる四万十川の上流・渡川の寺野にあるカヤックベースでカヤックを借りて、岩を抜け、急流を下ったが、途中にあった滝で、パドリングを誤って滝壺に落ち込み、運悪くカヤックが岩間にはさまってしまった。
滝壺に釣り糸を垂らす釣り人が見下ろしているのだが、こちらの必死のもがきにも気づかず、ただただ太公望を決め込んでいるではないか。
必死のもがきにカヤックは岩間から解き放たれたが、わずか数十秒の呼吸停止は、この世の終わりを経験したほどに長時間に思えたものだ。
その懐かしい四万十川の水に触れ、沈下橋に再会したいと、四万十川下流にかかる

The Shimanto River is one of nostalgia that went down by kayak and memories that endangered lives.
Certainly, at the kayak base in the Terano of Watarigawa river, upstream of the Shimanto River that flows along Prefectural Route 19.
I rented a kayak, went through a rock and went down a torrent.
However at a waterfall on the way, I accidentally paddled into a basin and unfortunately the kayak got caught between the rocks.
An angler who hangs a fishing line on the basin is looking down, but he does not notice this desperate struggle.
The kayak was released from between rocks in a desperate struggle, but the respiratory arrest of only a few tens of seconds seemed long enough to experience the end of the world.
Touching the nostalgic water of the Shimanto River and wanting to meet the subsidence bridge again.
I stopped over the Sadas’ subsidence bridge.

＜佐多岬＞ 四国最西端
<Cape Sata> The westernmost tip of Shikoku
佐多岬は、伊予灘をはさんで九州に一番接近している佐多岬半島の西端にある。
半島の背骨にあたる国道197号線の西端 三崎港からのフェリーにより、九州佐賀関港へ渡ることが出来る。
このコースは、自転車による日本縦断の旅で走った懐かしい思い出の地である。
今回は、三崎からさらに西の果てに向かい佐多岬に立ってきた。
Cape Sata is located at the western end of the Cape Sata Peninsula, Shikoku, which is the closest to Kyushu across the Iyo-nada Sea.
We can cross to Saga-no-seki Port in Kyushu by ferry from Misaki Port at the western end of Route 197, which is the backbone of the peninsula.
This course is a place of nostalgic memories that I ran on a trip through Japan by bicycle.
This time, I stood at Cape Sata heading further west from Misaki.

＜四国北部 紅葉横断＞

パートナーの四国八十八ケ所巡ぐりガイドは、今治にある59番国分寺で終え、
温暖な瀬戸内海気候である四国北部海岸沿いの松山道（国道11号線）を走り、川之江からは国道192号線沿いの吉野川を眺めながらゴールである鳴門公園に向かって車を走らせ、帰宅の途についた。
The partner's Shikoku 88 Pilgrimage Guide ended at 59th Kokubunji Temple in Imabari.
Drive along the Matsuyama Expressway (National Highway No. 11) along the northern coast of Shikoku, which has a warm Seto Inland Sea climate.
And then from Kawanoe, drive toward the goal Naruto Park while looking at the Yoshino River along National Highway No. 192, and on our way home.
On the way, I enjoyed the autumn colors of Daiho-ji Temple and Iwaya-ji Temple, and the beauty of the valley of Furuiwaya.
